We are hiring for two positions: Dress Specialists and Sewing Specialists. See below for the description of what each position entails.
Dress Specialists lead our clients through their appointment, and help them find their perfect dress. As a Dress Specialist, you will:
Conduct the client consultation: listen to your client, learn about their needs and wants, and educate them on the wide range of styles, price ranges, and options Ypsilon provides.
Pull dresses: you will be heavily trained on our warehouse system and how to pull for each client based upon what they tell you in the consultation, throughout the appointment, and what styles they respond to when they try them on. This extensive training is crucial to your clients success.
Listen to the client: You are not a stylist, choosing your own looks for each client. You are there to make finding the perfect dress a smooth, stress free, and fun experience. You will be listening to everything your client tells you and implementing those requests in the dress styles you pull, which will ultimately lead to a more custom, personal, and memorable shopping experience for each and every client who walks through our doors.
You will be pulling dresses for Sweethearts, Holiday Dances, Prom, Pageant (with extra extensive training) and more!
Feel confident securing stones, loose beading, and other small dress repairs in a timely manner
Inspect new arrivals and current stock
Conduct repair and maintenance of high-end designer dresses
Work well with other employees and staff, and offer proper advisement on length of time per dress repair
More About The Job
We are hiring seasonal employees to work our Prom Season (Jan. 1st - May 1st). You will attend a hands on training class where you will learn about the details of the job, newest product trends and styles, our team environment, and more!
There will be mandatory training classes offered throughout Nov/Dec.
Hours per week are flexible- anywhere between 10 hours (2 shifts) to 20 hours (4 shifts) per week. Most shifts begin at 2:00pm or 3:00pm and last 5 hours.
You must be available to work Saturdays.
There are no age requirements. All ages are welcome to apply.
