As we dive head first into prom season, let's take a second to talk about the hot trends we are seeing this year.
Floral is back and quite literally better than ever. The floral trend we are seeing isn't loud or obnoxious, but quite subtle and boho. If you are wanting that "down to earth" vibe for prom this year, a floral dress may be calling your name.
Give us all the ruffles! Not only does a ruffled gown make you feel like an absolute queen, it has a very fun and girly vibe to it. You can dress ruffles up or down which makes us love them even more. We need to send a personal thank you letter to whoever decided we needed them for prom this year.
Jersey fabric has been a big employee favorite over here, but shiny jersey? Take all of our money. This trend is pretty much screaming, "let me wear sweatpants but still look like a million bucks". Jersey is known to be extremely comfortable. When classy and glam meets comfort, you have to hop on the trend.
Let's never allow this trend to leave us, k? Nothing screams feminine and flirty the way puff sleeves do. This is another style that allows you to dress it up or down. Want a more laidback boho vibe? Natural makeup and loose curls are your friend! Looking for a more bold approach? Grab bright lipstick and a pair of som funky high heels!
One word to describe the feathers trend? Unreal. The way feathers can look good on multiple different styles of dresses is unreal. Feathers and sequins? Amazing. Feathers and a corset? Too good to be true. Feathers on a ballgown? Take my breath away!
